Private SAT preparation built around the student’s actual results
SAT preparation is most effective when it begins with a clear understanding of what a student already knows and where improvement is most likely. My private SAT program uses the student’s Bluebook practice-test results to create a targeted plan rather than moving every student through the same material at the same pace.
Private SAT preparation is available now
Before beginning private SAT tutoring, the student must complete a full-length SAT practice test in Bluebook under realistic testing conditions. The student should take the test independently and finish it before requesting a consultation.
The process begins with a free 30-minute planning consultation. During the consultation, the student will log in to Bluebook and share the practice-test results with me. We will discuss the student’s scores, goals, intended SAT date, prior testing experience, and general availability.
After reviewing the results, I will identify the student’s highest-priority skills and recommend a customized sequence of lessons from my SAT curriculum.
How private SAT tutoring works
Private SAT students meet with me via Zoom at a consistent time once or twice each week. Sessions focus on the skills most relevant to the student’s needs across both sections of the digital SAT: Reading and Writing and Math.
Students receive focused instruction, guided practice, strategy development, homework, and opportunities to work with official College Board questions. As the student progresses, the plan can be adjusted based on performance and changing priorities.
Private SAT tutoring is offered in packages of ten 60-minute sessions for $2,500, paid in advance. The package includes individualized instruction, assigned practice, SAT curriculum materials, and ongoing adjustments to the student’s preparation plan. The initial 30-minute planning consultation is complimentary.
A comprehensive small-group SAT course is coming in 2027
I am also developing a comprehensive small-group SAT course planned for 2027. Sessions focus on both sections of the digital SAT: Reading and Writing and Math.
The planned course will include the following:
- Instruction in every major SAT content domain
- A structured sequence of focused lessons
- Test-taking and time-management strategies
- Guided and independent practice
- Homework and cumulative review
- Practice with official College Board questions
- Analysis of Bluebook practice-test results
The course is designed for students who want sustained, comprehensive preparation rather than a short series of last-minute review sessions. Final dates, pricing, enrollment limits, and scheduling information will be announced as the program is completed.
